Hunnect Limited has been operating in the linguistic services market since 2003 and has maintained its position as the third largest linguistic services provider in Hungary for the third year in a row with a yearly throughput of around 20 million words.
Starting out as a family enterprise, by now we are a company with several departments, hundreds of subcontractors, 40 target languages and a full range of linguistic services, including translation-editing-proofreading of any text of any size and nature, machine translation and post-editing, interpreting (both on-site and telephone), quality assurance of translations prepared by other companies, DTP services independently or as part of the translation process, and production of e-learning courses or any part of them (from writing or translating them to creating the final version with voice-over and subtitles).
Our e-learning hub, called HunnectAcademy® has been active in distance learning since 2010. We have been providing a variety of training solutions for all participants in the linguistic services industry. Our team is integrated into the university-level translator training programs at numerous universities, providing instruction in general knowledge of the industry as well as translation training in specialized fields.
Regarding the software requirements of the industry, we keep up-to-date: depending on our Clients' needs and new CAT solutions and other linguistic services related applications, we retrain ourselves and widen our software arsenal on a regular basis.
