Managing Director

Sándor Sojnóczky is the Managing Director of Hunnect Ltd. Prior to the establishment of Hunnect Ltd in 2003 he held a position as management consultant for Pricewaterhousecoopers, first at the London and then the New York offices. Sándor Sojnóczky holds a degree in English and Russian, he is a financial economist graduate and a certified member of the British Institute of Translations and Interpreting (MITI - Qualified Member). In addition to the management tasks of Hunnect Ltd, Sándor is a guest lecturer in the Social Sciences & Economics Translator and Interpreter Training Programme of the University of Szeged. He is also involved with  the English-Hungarian Medical Translator Training Programme organised by the Institute of Communication in Foreign Languages again at the University of Szeged.

Director of Operations

Péter Lepahin is the Director of Operations at Hunnect Ltd. Péter holds a degree in French and Russian language and literature as well as in translation from French (University of Szeged), and a degree in English-French translation (UCO University, Angers, France). He has been with Hunnect since 2006, initially occupying a position as project manager then later as manager of operations. Péter has been the head of operations at Hunnect Ltd since 2010 and manages the daily work of a team of ten people.

Péter taught and teaches project management and proofreading at the Translator Training Programme of the University of Szeged.

Business Development Manager 

Andrea Bernáth has been a Business Development Manager at Hunnect Ltd. since March 2011.

The most important part of her work is communication with existing, new, and potential Clients, processing new requests, preparing quotes for job offers, and helping to find new ways of improving our services.

Having significant experience in the different roles of this industry, she is always happy to help if you have any questions about any linguistic services related job you might have.

She started to work at Hunnect Ltd. in 2005 as an in-house translator, then as a project manager, and from 2010 she worked as the Deputy Director of Operations at the company.

She has several years of administrative work experience at higher education, mainly in organizing the studies of international students, and more than 10 years of work experience as an English-Hungarian technical translator.

Vendor Manager

Zita Nógrádi is the Vendor Manager of Hunnect Ltd. She started her career at Hunnect as a Project Manager, during which period she had a chance to obtain insights to the day-to-day operations of the company, and get acquainted with the customers and freelancers by the time she got involved in HR and recruitment tasks.

Prior to joining the team of Hunnect Ltd., she worked in coordinating marketing promotions for various agencies and also in the HR department of UN FAO in Budapest. She holds an MA in English with specialization in Business Studies. She resided in London, where she obtained a Cambridge Business English Certificate. Through an international scholarship, she completed parts of her university studies in Bilbao, Spain.

  Head of the Quality Assurance Department

Adrienne Dobóczky is the Head of the Quality Assurance Department at Hunnect Ltd. She started her career as a Project Manager, which enabled her to familiarize with a broad spectrum of client needs, quality standards and expectations. All this has created a strong basis for setting up a very efficient and demanding quality assurance approach at the company.

Before joining the Hunnect Ltd team, Adrienne has worked as a television journalist for several years. Adrienne holds a Teacher’s Degree in English and Hungarian Language and Literature from the University of Szeged. She continued her studies at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, from where she gained MA in International Economy and Business. She conducted academic research at the University of Puebla, Mexico. She is fluent in English and Spanish languages, speaks basic Russian, Italian, Portuguese and learns French in her free time. Currently she is involved in post-graduate doctoral studies.

  Machine Translation Program Manager

Géza Prohászka is the Program Manager of the Machine Translation Department at Hunnect Ltd., previously working as a Project Manager at the company. During his career at Hunnect, he got familiar with various CAT tools and translation automation approaches; from 2011 he is responsible for the company’s machine translation development program.

Prior to joining the Hunnect team, he worked in the telecommunications industry in Hungary, and earlier for a non-profit association in the UK.

He holds an MA in English and History and continues PhD studies at the University of Szeged.
