Translation automation is not a new trend in the linguistic services industry and many of the participants have reached the point when the volumes and types of the source content, the state of the world economy and the business model of the translation industry (perform faster, better quality and more economically) require new solutions.

Machine-translation technologies are not new and the research, development and testing of this technology can be dated back to several decades. The results of MT technology get better and better and one can see more and more advanced solutions implemented as business models at linguistic services providers.

As we at Hunnect® Limited have always been open minded and committed to new technologies, our management decided to implement a full machine-translation solution in 2011. We are happy to announce that we have established our MT-technology for English-Hungarian and Hungarian-English language pairs. Based on the pilot projects we ran, our colleagues and external experts prepared the training framework for our post-editors. In order to increase our post-editing capacity, we are committed to continuously train our post-editor teams and can accept machine translation and post-editing assignments for English-Hungarian in increasing volumes.
